I need to resurrect this thread to ask if anybody has an extra Swenson ambi thumb safety laying around. Jason? :) I would like to buy one. Thanks.

Ok, I know the hard chrome is more authentic, but that pistola would look COOL with polished blue flats! 8)

It is rare that I see a gun and think, "I need one of those, for sure." But, your rendition of a Swenson-esque Colt made me think just that. Absolutely timeless and stunning work, Sir.

Really Really Nice John! Ever since I have been shooting 1911,s and tried to educate myself on the design Swenson always to me seemed to really set standards that custom pistol smiths aspire to meet.Nice pics also,for those of us who will never see a Swenson custom up close or handle one your work lets us check things out from close up.
