The gun looks amazing! Wonderful Creativity, way to stretch the imagination.

Ned, I'm the guy who has the same passion for ducati's and guns.

Great to meet you guys at the show. Be safe out there on the road and keep up the great work!

Ned Christiansen. Where creativity and skill meld into unimaginable function. Every single time. Great work, again, still, as always.

Phil! Welcome, you are long overdue!

The barrel is a Nowlin bull. I threaded it and made the protector from a piece of stainless .223 barrel I had cut off.

Al, you were missed at SHOT and a subject of several conversations. Wish ya coulda been there. O'course then we couldn't have talked about you.

You know half of me is glad I didn’t go to the show this year....because had I been there, I would have been in trouble for not letting go of any one of the pistols (if not all of them) in the display case. :P

In all seriousness, thank you and everyone else for posting the pistols here. Although I couldn’t finger them in person, at least I got to drool over the photos...each year I get a little closer...maybe next year I will finally board a plane to heading in the correct direction.

Congrats on LTWs 4 & 5...your efforts to help others are still awe inspiring...

Capt. Tighe, If you're still at your current post next year at least you'll be closer and we really look forward to finally meeting you in person.

Now, as to the funny looking tool: Everytime Ned arrives we joke about the "Mother Ship" has landed. As a result, we decided that the tool in question was really the ignition key to said Mother Ship.

Ned,

I wish I could have made it to SHOT to drool over these. Great work and some customer is going to be real happy.

Regards,

Rob

That's just surreal, I love it!!!

And the rollmark of the Michigan 'mitten' holding a 1911 is hilarious!

Can't believe I missed that one. That is one very slick muzzle protector! Oh why can't I live in a state that permits the ownership of silencers! Nevermind, that would probably just end up being another fight with the significant other.

Anyways....that was awesome.....any other of the smiths out there have pictures of custom guns with cans on them?

Those Conamyds look like you could slather monkey snot all over them and they'd still offer plenty of grip.
