John,
All joking aside, did you make the leather for that 1911 and if so, what model is it? Please advise.

Beautiful work by all.
Best regards,
Jeffro
I'm pretty sure he did and that it is an IBS (Inside Burton Scabbard). Hope this helps.

Yes...that is an IBS (the last Prototype before finalizing the design, I believe). Some very minor changes were made for final version - so small I doubt anyone would notice.

Not to hijack, but it's an IBS...I always found it funny that a holster collaboration with Jason Burton was
called I B.S. Was there a pun intended, Mr. Ralston? It is a beautiful holster for a great gun and that is no B.S.

The Inside Burton Scabbard (IBS) is a colaboration between Jason Burton, of Heirloom Precision http://www.Heirloomprecision.com and myself. Jason wanted something that differed a bit from what is currently available. This design features sewn belt loops with a Pant Loop Slot to allow for secure placement on the belt. This design gives you more options for placement, yet provides a very secure platform for carrying a full size gun like the 1911 all day.

 Guess I missed there was a page 2 and the maker already commented...

Thank you for the information........ I think I "need" that holster. I will have to dial up and get an order in.
Best regards to all,
Jeffro

I keep coming back to this post and I'll second and third others thoughts here that this may just be the quintessential fighting gun. With other pistols being touted as "tactical" or set for "fighting" or “CQB” this one still stands head and shoulders above the rest. Magnificent work! :D
