After some more shooting, I decided I wanted to fiddle some more.
Changed out the sear for an EGW, added an Ed Brown disconnector, added a Ed Brown safety, bobbed the hammer, reshaped the tang of the grip safety, and did a mild melt. It doesn't show up well in the pictures, but if you run your hand over the gun it flows smoothly.
After all this, I had a bunch of mismatched parts and lots of bare metal from filing and sanding. Off it went to Mac's Shootin Irons for Gun Kote over parkerizing.
I also added a leash to the SA msh. I've left enough toys in the desert over the years that I didn't want to add this pistol to the sacrifices given to the Gods of the sand dunes.
Mac was quick and very nice to deal with. I think it makes for a very functional pistol.
