I received this new blaster all most 2 weeks ago and just this weekend I had the opportunity to take it out to my range and give it a whirl.

Timing is every thing.....also last week my Les Baer SRP Commanche that I ordered 3+ months ago came in.

With a side by side comparison I have to say thanks to the Yost shop.....
don't get me wrong the Baer is nice, the fit and finish is great but the Yost Colt is that much better!

A few pics......

Those are Davidson's grips, are they black/grey, or black/green. I have a feeling the answer will be black/grey. Those are next on my list thinking of the same design but only 1/2 cut.

Gary,

Glad you like it. I did the gun originally and Colton did the extras which you wanted of the slide top serrations and borders.

Best,

Ray

No way, Ray :P

Are you so used to Colton doing all the neat stuff that you've forgotton the old guy can still do some neat stuff too?

Shows how much my guys pay attention to what I'm doing now that they know it all

If it was me I'd scrap the Baer and send YOBO a Colt Commander and you'd have a matching pair. I have had a few Baers....never a YOBO but that is going to change right quickly.

Very beautiful Colt you have there. As soon as the tax return shows up. I'm sending my Springer to YOBO, but I have a bill to take care of with Bob Rodgers when my Springer Operator is finished.. :D

Hope you had fun while neglecting your 'other job'...........

Now get back to work on our knives. You don't need to take a YoBo gun out to shoot. They work.

Sheesh, what a waste of time, Gary.........

Yep.....your right blk/gry I though about 50/50 too. I don't think you can go wrong one way or the other.

CT..... I did get some stuff done today. Hell I need the shipment of ivory. You know the drill...... sits in the safe for 9 months then you take it out and do it, it's like an ageing prosses :P

Thanks Ray and Ted for a fine shoot'in iron!! :D

Whoa, nice blaster GMan! Typically flawless work from the Yo-Bo camp.

I think you just "talked" me out of hard chroming my XSE.

Dang, those Y-B guys sure are turning out a lot of gats! I assume only a small percentage of their output shows up here at LTW Forums so it's kind of hard to figure why there's a 4-6 month lead time.... :)

Nah, it's pretty easy really, we take every other week off

Seriously, we get in an awful lot of work. It takes time. I love the Chuck Rogers credo "Good - Fast - Cheap.....pick any two!"

I think I am in love with that colt.

That is one of the most tasteful cammanders I have seen. Jeez, with a 4 to 6 month lead time I could almost not worry about how I am gonna pay for it!!! Makes the price a little easier to swallow since it gives me plenty of time to save up my pennies. :D

I love the finish and the choice of grips also.

Pete
