Has anyone tried this finish? Any tests or evaluations by actual users would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Yep, Lance I have. I had an HD Rifle heavy barrel 308 with all metal coated with Cerakote in house by Jeff. He used the same stuff as Fit4Duty. It does have some slight lubricative properties but I still used some Break Free to lube the bolt. Other finishes I have noticed that after shooting approx 100rounds that the finish around the barrel crown begins to chip and peel from all the exhaust gases. But not with this finish; I purposely ran it a good does hot and no peeling. By far the best finish I have come across, at least, for a rifle.

Thanks, Will. I was wondering if that finish on my HD is the same stuff. It has been great. I was debating b/w this finish and hard chrome. All this time wondering and it's been under my nose all the while. Genius.

LOL

Lance, I am willing to bet that it is. Check with Jeff or Clay.
