Hoser,
I can help with this one. I shoot mine often and with full-power ammo. They are all just as tight & smooth as when I first handled them, and they are showing more signs of finish wear from handling than any battering. One is a commander that gets shot quite a bit, and it is the funnest to shoot. I think two things are critical to getting a 10mm to last: proper spring weights/changes and lubrication. Keeping your springs fresh goes a long way toward keeping the guns running right, and lubrication keeps them tight and smooth. If you are having any questions as to whether or not to have one built, don't. They run, shoot great, and are just plain fun. Besides, even though some folks might think you're a sissy if you don't, shooting full-tilt ammo is not mandatory.

The Christmas Family Portrait that shows some of the changes I made to the longslides and Commander... changed to solid triggers, wood grip panels, and a flat MSH on the longslide. The Para/Caspian had yet to be born when this was taken.
I love 'em all.
