Is there enough metal to thin down the front of a Kimber slide al la a High Power to remove the front serrations ? I have seen pics of C.T. Brian's excellent work on Colts like this.

Got a new project in mind on a NIB stainless Series I Kimber.

From my perspective yes, there is enough material there to do a Browning HP cut on a Kimber slide. I have seen them done by hand, and it can leave a little to be desired. But if they were machined off I think it would be fine.

Let us know how it comes out.
