I know that all the Smith associated with this forum are all top notch. But who would be the best for building an officers model up for an every day carry gun based on a pre-enhanced 80's series Colt? and Why?

All views are welcome.

Hard to go wrong with any of the better 'smiths, really. You want something like a Sidewinder, or something a little more basic?

Welcome rccolt.45!

Yes, I agree; the smiths associated with this forum are all top notch. I had the pleasure of meeting many of them at SHOT and also got a chance to look over there work they had on hand for the show. There is no doubt that you will not go wrong in craftsmanship or professionalism. May I recommend that you spend some time on each smiths website, which can be found by clicking on the list of members at the LTW homepage. Figure exactly what you want and your budget and give them a call. As they say today...its all good. :)

Enjoy your project.

Jim

OK, I just have to note something cosmic: Sean, my fellow Texan joined LTW exactly one month after I did. This was his 23 post and my 32 post and we answered at the same time.... DDDUUUDDDEE 8)
