Like a DA I left my K9 and Swarovski binos in my vehicle the other night and some AH decided he needed them worst than me. A local PD got after him til he flipped his stolen van. Unfortunately he didnt suffer quite the injuries that my Swavo's did (broke in half), and my K9 wasnt recovered. I picked up a K40 and am looking for night sights. Anyone have any suggestions? Brownells doesnt list them. Novaks lists them but they are high. Any other's fit?

Ashley makes their 24/7 Big Dot night sights for the Kahr; if you're interested in a fast acquisition flash sight-picture and not too concerned about conventional sight alignment and distance accuracy.

I have a set of the big dots on a 225. I really like them for a house gun. I was hoping to find something contoured along the lines of Heinie 8s or Novaks.

Hi Gary, Sorry to hear about your Kahr. I like those guns too! They sell night sights from their website, http://www.kahr.com. Good luck!

The best sight picture for me is from the Trijicon sights Kahr sells on their website. I have tried Novaks and A/O but the sights from Kahr are the ones for me. Regards, Richard :D

I ended up going with the Novak bar dot night sights. Went ahead and KG'ed the slide while I had it apart. Used the Satin silver since I was doing a buddies off duty Mdl 36. Turned out nice.
