couple questions..

1) what is done to the top of the slide that is NOT serrated. (that wrinkle finish) rogers, has it on one of his guns...

2) are you gonna make a sidewinder out of the new springfield defender,45gap? THAT WOULD BE AN AWESOME COMBO.

not that this one isnt. i love micros, and this is probably the best one ive ever seen..

OMG!!! You need to take it easy on me, my Doc says I am under too much stress right now! That's beautiful Tim; sorry about the extra work you had to do because of the SS Slide. Life is good.... at least as far as guns and family go.

Tim,
Those Sidewinders are absolutely KEWL.

From Pulp Fiction:

Pumpkin: Which one is your gun?
Jules: It's the one that says Bad Motherf*#ker.

Changed to fit our needs, but appropriate nonetheless.

Beautiful Tim.

Tim,

That is another fantastic one again.

I'm always amazed when I see TONS of unique and individual details that you do which personalize every gun.

Very nice.

Best,

Ray

Mr Brian,
What can be said that has not already been spoken. Beauty in craftmanship is derived from both a love of ones work and the implementation of knowledge to do the work. You have both sir.
My compliments to the artist and the patron. What a lucky team!

Tim my man, that's absolutely gorgeous (as per usual). But, I do have one question: Ain't it kinda hard to cock the hammer using your thumb nail on that little gear at the base of the hammer???????

It's different than Chuck's. Mine is just a blasting with aluminum oxide.

No plans to at this time. The SideWinder is a limited production of 200 guns, and there just aren't that many left unspoken for to make any changes.

Many thanks for the kind comments, guys. Let's see what the good doctor has to say when he's got it in his hot little hands.........

BTW, what a pleasure it is to work with John. Our next project will be pretty spectacular.

BUT.....

I still think it needs a lanyard loop so it can be carried on a key ring

John paces at the front door waiting for the FedEx truck.............

Sure. I can build you a SideWinder without the SideWinder markings. 'Course, technically, it wouldn't be a SideWinder then.......

The frame & mainspring housing is anodized, small parts are blued and the stainless slide is teflon coated. That info will cost ya another burger, Stan.....

Tim,

I have never been too "big" on little 1911s, or any little guns for that matter... until I saw your Sidewinder. I think Steve Bailey's alteration of the Pulp Fiction dialogue was very fitting, indeed. After you've exhausted the run of Sidewinders, reintroduce them with a very subtle change or two, just to distinguish them, as the BMF. I would absolutely love to shoot one of those and carry it for a few days to see what I'm missing. I bet it would convince me to buy one. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Jim. In all honesty, all you'd be missing is several ounces and a few inches...........

500 rounds of American Eagle down range and she runs beautifully. I am very surprised at how well it handles; it comes back down and on target quickly. Thanks again Tim -- Blending Art with Firepower and Exceptional Reliability!!

Nah, that's impossible John. Haven't you heard that the 'little ones' can't be made reliable????

Seriously, my pleasure. Carry it daily. Glad you like it.

Sounds like a bad circumcision to me, man. Ouch! But, all joking aside, I really do like those guns. I'm leaning toward one of the CCO type guns for carry, tough. Your rendition of what a little gun should be is quite nice. I had a Detonics for some time and could never bring myself to carry it. I'd carry a Sidewinder with no reservation.

Mr. DelPinto, you have a nice collection of 1911s going there. Between you and Jason Burton, I think I could fufill all of my 1911 fantasies.

Then hold on. Shortly, I'll be introducing the CHOPPER. This is an official teaser announcement.
