In some circles using the term "working gun" means it has flaws or is less than another gun. Not the case here. This is a gun that is void of extras some others may want on their pistols. Keeping the traditional look of a Colt and addressing some necessary items makes for a very nice gun.

Some nice extras on this one with the idea that it is going to get shot.........a lot. Theophorus, enjoy your new shooter.

That gun is gorgeous! Can you please list the work done on it and what kind of grips those are? How much would it cost to get that done to my older 1991A1?

:P I most certainly will enjoy it Mr. Bailey, and thanks to the entire Yost-Bonitz shop delivering just what the customer wanted. Chalk up another satisfied customer.

The grips are stock Series 80 grips. I just returned home, and so I'm going to drink this ice cold beer, rub my new gun all over my body, and then I will list the work that was done.

Congratulations, Theo. I trust you'll keep her well fed. I forsee a jealous snake in your future, though.

I thought I'd post a pic that shows what a nice job Ted did on the top of the slide.

I'm still very much in love. Can you tell? The more I handle this sidearm, the more I love it!
