Nice clean and simple lines. Looks like a block of ice!
It is what Phillipe Stark would have made if he designed guns instead of furniture.

Great photography and backgrounds, too!

That is a truly unique and attractive slide "sculpture" and treatment. It really "calls out to me". It is a piece like that that just amazes me how the "blank canvas" of the 1911 brings out such brilliant creativity. And some of the neatest stuff is tastefully understated and almost stark in appearance........... yet different from the others.
Just look at the works of the 'smiths on this site. Each has their own creative niche' and each has acheived a spectacular level of excellence on basically the same "blank canvas"........... yet so many appear so elegantly understated and simple and yet each different.
This site has brought together the greatest assemblage of talented and giving folks.................... Just S-o-o-o-o-o-o darned inspiring.
My best to all,
Jeffro

Mike,
That is a great looking gun. The lines are perfect. You didn't post for a while and man...it was worth it. Is that hard chrome? Beautiful looking work.

I like the treatment on the bottom edge of the slide, very tasteful and wonderfully executed!
