Hey gents I just found this forum, and I'm simply amazed!

It's great to see experts in this field working together to raise money for a good cause.

Anyway, here is my stupid question from an amateur: What exactly are french borders? I've searched and haven't found a clear explanation/photo of what those are.

Thanks in advance for an explanation, and hopefully a photo.

Not a stupid question. Borders are a line cut with a mill that separate the transition from the flat of the slide to the round. Gives a little symmetry to the overall look of the finished gun. Here is a photo.

I havent shot it yet. It lives on the other side of the state. Good news is I've got an arrangement to store it off campus and I'll get to bring it over later this month.
