To say I am a sucker for tu tone guns is an understatement. Maybe it is because while they became very popular with the IPSC crowd some years ago, they never seem to go out of style. The Series 80 pictured below is a customer gun. Not much different than most of us would like a custom carry gun done for ourselves. This one has customer spec'd Esmerelda custom Cocobolo stocks, a gold line front, YoBo Pro Grade sights, and all the custom touches that make these worth building.
I love sitting at my bench working when I can. Sometimes it is a grind, but when you hear Theo get excited about almost every build you wonder how someone keeps up the enthusiasm over a twenty year career.
Ted has a rifle in the works right now. Fiddleback wood, and every single detail touched on. That gets us all rev'd up. No more on the rifle until some snaps are taken.
I will post some additional pics here this weekend. How about a switch top P-35 in .40 and 9mm? Or a Retro Tu Tone .38 Super? Cool stuff comin' out
The best day this week was when C.T. Brian and his wife Susan rolled through the shop, terrorizing Phoenix on their Harleys. Some of the best people anyone could know. We hung out, BS'd, and had a nice afternoon. Not a bad day. Well, enough typing, here are some shots.
