How come you have your own domain name for web/http stuff, but not for your email?

Honestly, Mr. Rogers, with the guns you make and reputation you have, I don't know why you need a card.

From personal experience of a newbie who got into custom nineteenelevennes just two years ago, it takes about 2 days of limited internet access to find you, Ned, the Yo-Bo crew, the entire LTW ensemble, as all of you are in "Who is who in the Art and Science of Custom Gunsmithing".

However, if you wish to have a card, I'd just put a picture of any of you pistols and your name. Trust me, that'll provide enough stimulus to find you and enough information to do it in no time
:)

Why not put a detailed photo of a gun on the back?

I like it, Chuck. Although, I think a pile of metal shavings and a few metal slivers hanging out of those meathooks of yours would be more appropriate. I mean, at least it would save the trouble of deciding which example of 1911 perfection to put in the background.

As I said on another forum...Chuck your work is FAR TOO NICE to hide in the background. I tend to agree, that you may not need cards, after all your.......CHUCK ROGERS! As YK said "any of your pistols and your name" would do! :D

Mark

I have to agree with Mark, you are....CHUCK ROGERS....a nice pic of any of your creations and your name and web address would be great. You could hand out chunks of tree bark and nobody would care after they see your pistols. Have a great time in Vegas.

Bob

Looks great!

At first glance, it reminded me of Gene Roddenberry's card

Have a safe trek up to vegas, buddy - see ya Thursday!

Sorry, haven't had a chance all day to be a smarta$$

I like it.
Perhaps the subdued/background 1911 image will make people hungry for more info and cause them to go looking?

But why are the slide serrations going that way? Shouldn't they slant forward?
My attempt at smartass-ness.

Gotta say I agree here. I like the "message", but I'm not all that hip on the font. I figure since you build such beautiful, timeless blasters, that an equally classy font would be better suited (which font, I have no idea).

Then again, everyone knows the amazing quality of your work, so you could scribble something in crayon on a diner napkin and you'd still have a backlog that's years long...

I like the idea of the shavings...or mebbe a dremel resting on a jockey uniform...

Chuck,
“Superb” come now. I think maybe we are being a bit modest. Mind blowing, none better, damn fine custom 1911s I could see but “superb”.

It is a great looking card and as others have stated you could just write your name and number on a napkin and never be out of work or not known. As long as you like it I think you have a winner. Have a safe journey to Vegas friend.

For my money it shows the classic ransom note effect of too many faces and too many sizes and too many colors in too small a space.

Be expensive but I'd put a high resolution full color image of the pistol on Kodak stock with small type in a single face toward the top and smaller type in the same font for contact on the bottom.

As noted it really doesn't matter how good a business card is in the abstract if a good name is on it.

Well unfortunatley I am willing to bet he is already in Vegas so it is a little later.
Myself, I like them but hey everyone likes something else... Hence why we are all such junkies for the custom pieces haha.

I think it is gonna be pretty damn quiet around here the next few days as all the big cheeses are livin it up in Vegas.

Enjoy your trip guys!
I hope you all find some time to get away and relax for a few minutes... FYI I heard there is a secret meeting for all custom smiths at the Spearamint Rhino... Ask Barbie about entry, I hear it is in the VIP room and she will make sure you a cocked and loaded haha. Just make sure you don't have an AD while you are in there or else you will feel pretty silly walking out.
