Here's some pics of my new 1* Enhanced Springfield that I received on Wednesday. Sorry about the quality of the photos, they don't do the gun justice.

IT is beautiful. Is that hard chrome or stainless?

Thanks,
Lester

The base gun was a Stainless Mil-Spec. I really like how they bead blasted the frame and slide rounds and left the flats brushed.

What type of hammer is that? What personal modifications did you request?

Best,

I believe the hammer is from Cylinder and Slide. The gun has the following upgrades:

Fit Slide to Frame
Serrate Rear of Slide 40 lpi
Stipple Front Strap and Mainspring Housing
Fit and Blend S/A Magwell

I also opted to go with a Wilson 3 hole trigger in lieu of the solid one.

Does this pistol have the original Springfield barrel? If so, how does it shoot? Did the slide to frame tightening drastically improve the accuracy w/out the need of a new barrel?

If so, how does it shoot? (Very accurate)
Did the slide to frame tightening drastically improve the accuracy w/out the need of a new barrel? (I think that the stock barrel with a fitted match bushing is accurate enough for most people's needs. The slide to frame fit is less important than the barrel to slide fit for accuracy)

Very nice.

I've also been very pleased with my SA's and their barrels once a bushing has been properly fitted to them.

Enjoy yours.

The shop was Yost-Bonitz, not sure which gunsmith @ YOBO actually did the build.

Right at 3 months, although it felt like an eternity.

Thanks, I shipped mine in Nov. I think. I guess that like most businesses, things slow down around the holidays. I am not in a hurry, just think about my first custom every day, a couple times a day. Sometimes more, sometimes less. :P

I still have a few more weeks 'til my Nighthark Talon lands, but I couldn't resist ordering a YO-BO 1* Enhanced just now. All of the positive feedback and great pictures you YO-BO owners have posted made the call easy...

Image

Ordered mine in satin blue with a long solid trigger, without lanyard loop, and with some added YO-BO Juju that Jason recommended...

4 months and counting...

Thank you, Jason...
