Hi guys! First time poster but I've been reading unregistered for quite some time now. Real nice collection of talents here as well as kind and generous folks. 8) I like this place.

Well my project gun was finally completed yesterday after being bounced around from one smith to another. Unfortunately no one from LTW had their hands on it. It was a "small" project. I'll hopefully patronize one of you guys sooner or later.

A little background.. It started off as a Springfield GI 45 and was completely gutted. Over the course of a year I began "building" it up how I wanted it. Parts were purchased and installed. Different people did different things to the gun. It finally ended up at Caylor Custom Guns for the finishing touches. The Springer is exactly how I wanted it.

I'm scared to even show you guys.. I know what kind of guns turn out here.. True masterpieces.

PS- I know about the punch mark on the rear sight. It will be taken care of ASAP. 8)

Looks like everything came together for ya. No need to be scared, these guys won't bite. Just keep your gunpowder locked up.

Be proud of that gun, it is very nice. You did good. I'd show it off to everyone I could!

Nice gun.

Since I live in Spring, you need to let another forum member (me) try it out for review....

Yeah, yeah...

Let ME have it for a week and you'll get it back broken in and ready to go. No troublesome "break in" period for you or anything. Best of all, you wouldn't even have to pay me...it would be a FREE service.

breech, It appears you have some good talent. Me, I have great ideas but no artist in me to bring them out. You should be proud of your creation. Good luck to you.
