Has anyone used the YoBo trigger kits?
http://www.brownells.com/aspx/NS/store/ ... NECTOR+SET

Did it require any additional fitting?

I've used 3 of them. Dropped right in. Excellant quality & fit.

I've been using them on a pretty regular basis. Definitely some of the best stuff out there.

I put one in my NRM Gov't model. Dropped right in, no fitting needed. Gave me an exellent trigger pull.

I just ordered one and a few YoBo Pro rear sights. I'll let you know how it goes.

Got it installed.

The hammer and sear must be made by the same mfr as the ones I took out of the Les Baer, they were identical (even the serrations in the hammer).

The trigger pull is better than it was, but not like my RRA 1911. I noticed that the sear on the RRA has a secondary angle cut about 50% of the primary angle ... where this one (and the LB part) are about 25-30%. I'm pretty happy with the parts overall. It's about as good as you can expect for drop in. The current thumb safety was a perfect fit.

I really like the YoBo Pro rear sight. It went on without any fitting and is secure. It offers a nice wide notch and a lot of light around the standard (.11 IIRC) front sight. I'm glad I purchased 2.

Both are good buys.

YoBo - thanks for using Brownells as a stocking dealer.

I think the YoBo rear is the best thing going for a gun that doesn't have night sights.

I swapped out night sights for it! I think I prefer the plain rear and night front.

In talking with YoBo - they can add tritium to them for $33 / vial. They can do 2 dot or Straight Eight configuration.

I used three of his Trigger Kits. I asked Ted's permission the have the hammer revised on a mill and it was fine with him. I had to fit the sear to the hammer in all three but it was no trouble at all. They are very nice parts. We have tested several high end trigger groups, but have been underwhelmed by most of them. It is tough to "Drop In" parts in a 1911. Most of the time you get lucky, but I had to re-work all of the very expensive groups that I tried. I love the 30 LPI hammer serrations and they really look neat when I checker the hammer.
I also really like Ted's new sights! I have not had a chance to use them yet, but have seen them and I think they are great! He is doing some really neat stuff these days!
