I have some custom 45s and I noticed a big difference in triggers. My favorite gun is an old Army bullseye gun. The trigger is about 4 pounds and when it breaks it is very fast with a loud pop. I have some guns with lighter triggers 3 to 3.25 but when they break they are soft and slow. what's the difference? I just pick up a Colt series 70 and it has the loud, quick trigger. I tend to shot the faster triggers better even if the trigger breaks at a greater weight around 4 lbs.
