Hi all. While I've been a member here for some time, I'm usually so busy in the shop I don't have time to spend on the forums.
I have finished the machine work on the '06 Grand Finaly prize gun and as soon as the polishing and bluing are done I would like to post a photo of it here.
For now I'd like to show you one of the prize guns I built a few years ago.

Hope you enjoy.

Bruce is a friend of mine, in spite of the fact that he beats me at least half the time whenever we shoot against each other! He's an avid and capable competitor. When somebody contacts me about some gun work that I can't get to and they need it now, I usually send them Bruce's way.

Good stuff. That looks like a really nice competition set up.

I really like the checkered rear slide! Definitely different.

Even more impressive is the fact that he didn't machine borders around the checkering to clean up uneven lines.
