Can someone (please :D ) point me to a source for standard sized ambi safeties? I've tried Brownells and the only one I see is cast with substandard quality.

Mike, As far as I know, the Meuschke is the only one of the non-extended variety. Colt used to have one, but I suspect it may come from the same maker. Your best bet may be to buy an extended ambi and have the levers trimmed as desired. Best,

This is the safety I had installed on my first 1911. Colt installed it and my local gunsmith got it to work correctly.

Series 80 Gold Cup slide/frame and my Rock River Arms Limited Match. (great gun) the rest are N frame S&W 44 magnums except for a couple Ruger 44's. Stocks are from Herrett's.
