Does anyone know where to purchase after market parts for CZ pistols, such as barrels, grips, etc.

Regards,
Jeff

Hello Jeff-

I have been looking at all the available CZ parts for a couple of years now. The bad news is there just isn't that many parts options but there are some good items. We all know Hakan's grips and I have a set, but have recently bought some of these:

They also have a number of competition parts available at their store:

Bar-Sto also produces a CZ aftermarket barrel but I heard they only put out one batch a year. I think Europe might have a number of parts since the CZ is popular there and I have recently purchased this titanium hammer from a contact in the Czech Republic:

The CZ seems to be getting more popular here and who knows what could happen. I have a pre-B CZ-75 at a smith right now getting made over as a CCW. I'll post pics when it come back.

Thanks
Ross

EGW makes some high quality parts which are nominally compatible with the CZ.

I remember seeing something about Kurt Wickmann modifying a CZ75 to accept Novak sights. Then, I also remember hearing that CZ slides are difficult to make cuts in.

Does anybody know anyting about this?

Lester

Lester, The CZ nicely accepts Novak 1911 sights, and they're close enough in height to the stock rear that you can normally use the existing front sight if desired. On ethe CZ 'A' models, you'll usually need to add a filler to the existing rear sight dovetail in order to avoid a gap under the Novak rear. On the 'B' models, you can mill without any filler needed. If one needs a taller front sight on the 'B' models which are pinned in, you might be able to get one from CZ. They use a taller front on their target models I think. Otherwise, you either try to build up the existing front, make one from scratch (not easy), or I actually bought a set of LPA adjustables and used just the front sight from the set. On the 'A' models, you can use a Novak or similar front and dovetail it in. Hope this helps,

About 15 years ago I had Novak's install front and rear sighta on a CZ. Yhey had to do some welding and machining to make it work (Joe Bonar did the work), but it turned out very well. I called them about a year ago to see if they would be willing to do another one, but at the time they said they weren't interested.

Matt Mink and Angus Hobdell both work on CZ's. They are sponosred CZ shooters.
I had Angus rework a CZ SP01 for me for use in Production in USPSA, with CZ competition parts trigger, hammer, sights (the rear sight is fixed but gives a bo-mar style sight picture).
As posted above, on his sight he sells all the parts for them.
