I had this gun built around ten years ago, and decided to have some changes made. The smith was Kurt Wickman, when he was still working there. I sent it back to Novaks about 3 months ago to have the hammer changed to the C&S series II, changed the bar dot to wide notch rear 3 dots, tighten the slide to frame a bit, and remove the mag safety. It already had the equivalint of there spec ops package. They refinished it and it all looks great. One of my main issues was the back strap was not rounded enough, and I have such a high hold it dug into my hand so I had them round it a little more. They even stippled it where they rounded it so it would match the rest of the stippling. Take a look and tell me what you guys think.

I think it's nice!
It's good to see guns evolve over time like that.

Yes they do, and it means a lot coming from a guy who gets to see Ted work his magic every day. They are a great bunch of guys, and Wayne Novak has said it more than once, if he was ever to carry a gun that his shop didnt build, it would be one of Teds. That says a lot for a smith to say about another smith.

Novak makes a wonderful pistol, and I only wish I had one of his HiPowers.
