They said my Springfield Armory is almost ready to go. :D
It is gonna be sweet........

It will be my ''Hard Use, Ultra Ninja, Team Six, Project Phoenix, Super Tactical'' companion when I am involved in extreme environment duties such as,

Commuting to work.

Accompanying the wife and kids to the grocery store.

Walking our poodle ''Charlie'' (no he is not my dog he belongs to my wife besides I call him ''%ucko the wonder dog'')

I could not decide at first on blued, two toned, or hard chrome but I went with blue in the final decision.
It will replace my current carry gun a R.R.A. Elite Commando.

Congatulations! I remember the feeling when I found out my Yost GSP2000 was ready...........Christmas, birthday, and the 4th of July all rolled into one. But you forgot: "Double Naught Spy".

I remember the anticipation after getting that phone call from Lew. It seems to be a bit adicting as I really want to send them another gun.

Congratulations! I'm happy for you.

(But not near as happy as I am to hear there's another gun out from in front of mine.)

Better than Christmas! Funny thing is that I would not hesitate to replace my carry gun with the Yost. It is a harchrome 5 inch EC. Problem is that I cannot wait that long to get a gun from Ted and can't take the time to build on for myself. I look forward to seeing the pics! If it is a Yost, you know your gonna love it! And we expect to see boat loads of pics.

Jess - I guess that's the gunsmith's version of the story of the cobbler who went broke because he spent all his time making shoes for his children instead of his customers. :D

Good luck to you in your new profession.

I am sure that your choices of modifications for your Springfield are well thought out and logical; meeting your described "special needs".

However, "#ucko the Wonder Dog" would be better off in his natural color and if I were you, I would forego having him either blued or hard chromed.
Poodles that shine are really pretty tacky.

Congratulations on your old/new Springer.

Snicker. Giggle.
Don't poodles give off noxious fumes when in the bluing tank?

I may have told a little lie this morning... I did have a few pictures of it. This is the typical classic build from Ted... although it did leave with a different trigger than what is shown in the pictures. Being able to see these guns as they are being built as well as handle and shoot them just help to remind me what the true definition of Signature Grade is.

Thanks for the pics Jason, I am probably one of the few who received their roscoe and then saw pics of it. And yes it does have a aluminum solid trigger in it.

Fellas I gotta tell ya my wife said my hands were trembling when I opened the box. I had to stop, go outside for a smoke and then come back and open the pistol rug. Talk about amazed. (wife says  ''whats the big deal, you have a bunch of guns in the safe'')

I originally thought of doing a retro, spur hammer, G.I. thumb safety type build but Ted talked me into something even more special 8) . Except for the Kart barrel and 25 l.p.i checkering I specified everything else I left up to him and am glad of it. Thank you Ted and everyone at the shop for a job well done.

How does it shoot? Sweeeeeet.............

Last but not least my friends I know their has been a lot of debate on customs vs ''factory customs'' or ''limited production'' pistols but i have to say their is no comparison.
I bought the R.R.A. EC to tide me over till Ted and his motley crew completed my gun and as much as I like it, I love what Yost/Bonitz sent me.

I guess now I will have to send the EC in for a light rail, a lanyard loop set up, and to get the trigger to feel like my new carry gun............

Ted, Lew, Jason, and Steve would you take my wifes poodle in trade?
