Well that is surely an interesting looking gun. Why the reverse two-tone though and who built it? I saw a similar gun at a gun show and always wondered if it was a production piece... kind of reminded me of an old Safari Arms for some reason.

Yeh, I dated a couple sisters one time. One was very pretty and one was ...well lets just say plain. So I can see the resemblance to a Safari Arms. No, really, I can.

Did you date them both at once? I did a mother/daughter thing 50+ years ago in CA that was outstanding. I will always love that Old Nash Ambassador that made into a bed.
Safari Arms? ROTF:LMAO

Yeh, but the craziest was when I was about 22 dating a "girl" that I thought was about 30. Got a real surprise one night when her son walked in the house to find us on the couch watching TV and said "Hi , Bill. Hi, Mom." We graduated from high school together. I had not seen him in years.
Now back to our regularly scheduled programing. Nice piece there, Dave. Classy! I like the "old school" large hammer hole. I used to do that to stock Colt CDR hammers back in the days before the quality aftermarket stuff was available. I still like that look better than most of what we've got to choose from today.

Agreed! That's my favorite 1911 hammer style.
