Thought you folks might like a few pictures of a 9mm Commander that Jim Garthwaite built. Forgive the lousy photography as it doesn't do it justice. The details:

Briley forged frame
Caspian slide
Kart barrel
Heine rear sight, opened to .14
Heine front, silver brazed
slide top flattened and hand serrated at 40 lpi
slide rear hand checkered at 40lpi
front strap and main spring housing hand checkered at 30 lpi
Heinie mag well
Spegel coco bolo grips
yada, yada, enough talk! But for anyone who cares, it's smooooth, has almost no recoil and shoots under 1.5" at 25 yards.

The man does great work, often quickly and quite fairly priced.

I am a happy owner of 5 of his builds.

That gun would make a NIIICE 9x23 :)

I have always liked Mr Garthwaites work, he has a very clean and nicely integrated style. Great looking gat you have there.
