 Post subject: Colt Magazine Question

Folks. This is a general question and not sure where to post it.

I am going through some of my table bait and have about a 6 blue Colt .45acp magazine and there is a letter on the bottom I was curious about what it meant if anything at all.

C, O, G, and M are marked on the mag on the bottom. I have an idea what the M meant but not the others.

Again just wondering what it meant if anything at all.

Terry, don't remember what they all mean, but C= Checkmate, M=Metalform.
Somebody knowledgeable will be along right shortly to answer this.
