Recoil? Whats that?!!! This gun is sweeeeeet. Running 148 lhbwc thru it at 800fps is like shooting a daisy air gun! The barrel is a shilen 1/14 twist and it shoots incredibly well at 50 yards. Wind is not an issue either. Bob builds as good a PPC revolver as I have ever seen or owned. He also builds A certain 7 time national champions guns as well. He has been building guns for a number of years but I have only seen them around the PPC circles and few of them at that. He has an excellent turn around and does some real magic to these guns. I spent my first two years of competition shooting pieced together guns that shot good. After deciding that I like PPC I also decided to make the jump to what I believe is the best revolver set-up for PPC that is availiable. My team is also leaving for the nationals tommorrow so by next week this gun will be a veteran nationals blaster. And one of the many positive attributes of this gun is the "popeye" forearms you get from holding it up!!! Thanks for all the comments guys

Just got a call from Bryan or Junior as we call him (1timeranger). He just fired a 1470 with this Bob Jones revolver to win national municipal champion in the expert class at the national police PPC championships in Albuquerque NM.

I guess it is in the neighborhood of about 6lbs. Its not bad to hold up as it is balanced nice. It really threw my timing off terribly. I didnt get the chance to practice with it much before nationals so my match 4 killed me I normally drop maybe 2 points and I tossed 11 points to 9 ring!!! And thanks for the congrats I won the expert municipal revolver with a 1470xuh forgot. The overall expert winner was a border patrol guy and he shot a 1472. And this makes for yes the third time in three matches I have missed a gun by less than three points!!!!! But this gun lends itself to the 50 yard line I shot a 232 match 3. And much to my enjoyment a 594 match 5!!! By far the best match 5 I have ever shot, my individual matches were on par with the exception of match 3 and 5. So here's to another season of chasing the 1480/1490 club!!!
