Hey all,
I'm hoping to have a custom built up and I really like the look of the commander/rowel hammer. Does any aftermarket place make them? I see Dave Berryhill offers one. Does anyone know what the quality is like? How good are the Colt manufactured ones?

Any suggestions?

Thanks
Rich

I have read that the Berryhill parts are very good quality. I really like that hammer.

I like them too and have a Delta Elite and a Combat Commander which were custom built using the stock rowel hammer. I'd say check Brownells and Midway.

Geroge at EGW makes one that is EDM cut from bar stock. Although I have no experience with the Berryhill version I am sure if Dave offers it it is of high quality.
