Mr. Harrison, Impeccable work, craftsmanship at it's finest. Not sure what you're referring to on the Nitre accents. I know Doug Turnbull is famous for his color casehardening. Is it something along those lines? I can't tell from the pics. Also what's the story on the slide stop? Is it a modified stock slide stop or fabbed by you. Beautiful work sir.....................

Whoa! I've never seen a blue finish that nice! That gun should never see the inside of a holster, or at least never see the inside of a kydex holster.

John,

That is a gun that i'd actually like to own, and I don't think that very often. You did an outstanding job on that gun.

Fabulous! Absolutely perfect execution. Undestated elegance. There are not enough adjectives to properply describe this piece of steel art. Sidebar comment - Why, oh why, does Colt not understand that they had the perfect rollmark way back when.

I am usually reluctant to describe anything as being perfect for the obvious reasons. This circumstance deserves an exception. Absolutely perfect John.

The detail is stunning and the concept tastelful in every respect.

The owner of that pistol will be able to use the sun's reflection off the slide to start the BBQ!

WOW!!!!!
That is a fantastic piece of work!
Every facet of this gun is in harmony with the others.
It's a LOT more than just a compendium of custom touches, it's just....well......right!
:D

This is just great, just great John. I now see what you meant about opening that pandora box thing. Maybe start sending you my pay checks, maybe change my build sheet, maybe .... um I don't know. By the way that unit is drop dead gorgeous!

I'm all about matte black combat pistols/rifles and all but I have to say, that is an EXCEPTIONAL looking 1911...the bluing is incredible.

...and I thought I had my 1911 collection all figured out...

Who's grips are those? I really like the way the top of those grips are cut.

I watched over this one a bit as it sat in the LTW booth at SHOT..... it got a lot of attention. I meant to tell you there in Orlando, John, what a great piece of work that is.
