hey guys, im getting a ppc 9mm 1911 gun built by dave sams. well, its ONLY going to be for ppc . so i didnt get "too" fancy but im sure some will beg to differ.lol.

anyway, im getting the pistol blued. i really love polished flats,but am leary about how they will look after some competition use?

now, im not going to be holstering/unholstering all the time, but i was just checking with some guys that have had experience with this.

oh, and it will never be carried.

Go with the Polished flats, why not enjoy them while your shooting. :D Plus it will distract the competition. :shock: I would not be conccerned about the wear from holstering. If after a while it bothers you send it back to Dave or one of the Great LTW smiths to do some more upgrades and a new finish. :wink:
