Here’s a NRM Series 80 Colt I recently finished up...

Not the most elaborate of builds and certainly not the most basic the customer knew what he wanted on the gun and was nice enough to let me do the rest. This one got a weld-up frame and slide fit, Kart barrel, S&A grip safety, flattened and serrated slide top in curved arrow pattern, serrated rear of slide, Wilson ambi, borders, serrations front and rear with a high-cut front strap, and all the rest of the usual niceties like our Professional Grade sights with a gold line insert up front.

This gun also got a two-tone finish of polished blue over a nice coat of matte chrome and the over all build is, in my opinion, a versatile style as the features and parts allow the gun to fit into a wide variety of roles. Two-tone guns have really grown on me lately. I think they are quickly becoming my favorites to build and I’ve got a couple full-house two-tones guns getting finished up over the next couple of weeks.

I did my best Steve Bailey impression with the pictures but you’ll still have to excuse the excess lint and fuzz. As Stevie would say, “enjoy the snaps”.

Now that is real nice! Someone will be very happy with it.

By the way, what's the Benchmade Skirmish knife doing in the photo! Hopefully Neil sent that to you! I've got a Custom Skirmish which is one heck of a knife!

Man, that is nice. I really like the subdued two-tone.

Nicely done.

Ho-Humm...... Maybe if Steve had taken the pics... Just kiddin' Jason, you have become quite the artist! Very nice, the owner is certainly lucky to own a gun that had your magic touch. A professional presentation to say the least. Thanks for sharing.
