Since everyone has been posting their 9mm 1911's I figure I might as well post the one I just got back. This was sort of a gift by a good friend. The list is long to what was done, so I will post it later or have Marc chime in. The machine work for the ball cuts, sights, border, and front slide serrations were done by Chuck Rogers. The rest of the work was done by my friend Marc Graff.

Marc can do a trigger job with the best of the smiths and blend a beavertail like no other. Thanks again Marc, and thanks to Chuck Rogers as well.

Sorry for the horrible pictures, I am no Steve Bailey. Any flaws you see is purely dust or a little extra oil.

Very nice. I know it borders on blasphemy, but 9MM 1911's are really fun.

Elliot- Glad you like the gun. Pics look good and I just found my digital camera! So I will have to get with you and take a few of my own.

Mark

I just thought I would post a mini range report. I fired about 400 rounds of mixed ammo, WWB, Blazer Bronze, HSM, and a few others. There were no problems of any kind. She ate everything I gave her without fail.

The groups were great, I mainly shot at the 15 yard line since my wife and daughter came. This Colt made one ragged hole every time. It shot so good I almost forgot that I kept the stock barrel. I still might have a Kart NM ramped barrel installed, but it is not a need, its a want kind of thing.

Again, thanks goes out to Mark and Chuck Rogers.
