Instead of a single "look at me" pistol thread, I thought I would do a "collage" of some of the non 1911 pistols that I have been working on, including the dreaded "plastic" pistols. Here is an M&P, and XD45 and a matched pair of XD45s that I did for some brothers. The M&P was media blasted to show off the stainless slide, melted and the grip reshaped and stippled. Also did a 3.5 lb trigger job on it. They actually have a very very nice trigger when they are done right. The XDs got the front and rear checkering removed, the grips reshaped and then stippled. Then they got a full action job, trigger job and my version of the adjustable pre-travel mod. Anyway, fun to work on some other stuff for a change.
