I like flexible platforms, one of my favorite guns was a Wesson 357 Pistol Pack, with the 4 interchangeable barrels, etc.

A 1911 that would switch between 45 and 9 mm seemed like a great idea, but after discussing this with those who know more. but this is what I got:

Man, something about those two guns makes them very unique, kinda strange, yet very likable. Maybe it's the two tone lower, but either way, they look to be well thought out and put together. Congrats on the new pair, and happy shooting.

They look great.

I'd say you made the right choice. I mostly let a 1911 .22 conversion collect dust until I got a complete gun, which then saw considerable use. So in my case, a complete gun is a lot more apt to be shot.

It's a mathematical fact that two cool guns are about five times better than 1.5 cool guns.
