I've recently completed design and manufacture of a new fixed rear sight designed to fill a void in the market place. The sight will fit slides machined for the LPA adjustable rear sight, such as used by Springfield Armory, Para-Ordnance and others.

It features:

Rear notch dimensions sized .135" wide by .125" deep for fast acquisition of sight picture
50 lpi Serrated rear blade to reduce glare
All corners and edges radiused to eliminate abrasion and increase carry comfort
Design allows one-handed manipulation by shooters with proper training
Can be set up for all popular night sight patterns

The sight is available in plain black (HD-002) and with a tritium bar (HD-002-B) and costs $67.05 & $99.95, respectively.

Now for some pics-

Beautiful work, John. That will nicely fill that market niche. But, dude, your slide's got dandruf!

edit to add: That sucker is certainly robust, as well as good looking.

I should apologize that in my excitement to get pictures of the sight posted, I used a less than stellar slide to showcase it from. The slide is a fresh from parts stock stainless steel slide with some sort of blackish coating on it. I think that's maybe an artifact from heat treating. At any rate, I need to finish the slide and get some better pics ready.

No apology needed. The focus should be on the very nice sight. The pictures show that very nicely.
Just my silly attempt at humor.

Great job John. I hope to get a chance to see one this week.

Very nice, I like the looks of those sights. They look like they could take a licking and keep on ticking.
