Finally, my turn came up.

This is a cool build, at least for me--I can't speak for Chuck. I only specified a few aspects of this build, and left the rest to Chuck with the caveat that it will be a hard use fighting/duty gun. His interpretation is awesome. Because I had so little to do with it, I'll have to leave the specs up to Chuck. When this thing makes it to Ohio, it is going to get one heck of a workout!

You should contact me. I am regularly in NE Ohio, sometimes to shoot, sometimes for the soccer tournaments. I would be glad to finally meet you, and treat you to a personal inspection.

Great work Chuck. Flawless top to bottom, and front to back. Those sights rock! Congratulations Damian, I am truly envious.

Does that Dawson Precision rail installation require rebluing the entire pistol or is it a "bolt-on" installation?

Thanks for the kind words fellers!
Full specs in a few days.
Until then:
Rogers' 'Tier One' sights.
King's bushing, reworked.
Dawson rail, bolt on.

I'll be getting in touch ..thought I was going to see you at the VT low light pistol/carbine school. I think I'll be taking that class once every year they offer it ...it was that good.

Cheers

Damian, that is as pretty a hard use duty gun as I have ever seen. It's always nice to be able to enjoy the tools of your trade.

Chuck, when you post the specs please include the finish.

Thanks

I love black pistols! Excellent work by the "best of the best". I have seen 3 of Chuck's 1911s in action at Gunsite. They not only look nice and are perfectly finished they also run perfectly in blowing sand and they are accurate.
