This is the first C&S 9mm Adventurer that Bill built with a titanium frame. Bill went all out on this one and added all the goodies:

30 LPI checkering on the back of the slide and the front strap. 30 LPI lines on the top of the slide. French border on the slide, and other touches.

It was a blast to shoot. Notice the velocity showing on the last photo. Bill chewed me out for putting +P+ in the little gun. Sorry Bill!

The Adventurer conversions have been very successful for C&S in both .45 and 9mm. Not to mention that Bill is a real gentleman and still takes phone calls.

Enjoy,

Man that is really cute.

I am surprised that Bill would care about the +P. I know of more than a few Ltwt. Officer's chambered in 9x23  that do just fine..

Maybe he concerned about timing with the little magazine and tiny slide?

I had what was probably the first one in Titanium, they built mine in 45. At the time he was suggesting BlackT for titanium - and it worked out fine.

It became my be all answer for a small 1911, and was flawless. If my state allowed CCW I would have kept it, but it now has a good home with another member of this board.

Is that titanium coated?

Richard

Here is a pic of Richard's Adventurer. Just a great little 45. (I might add that Richard is a real gentleman and I appreciate it.)
