Ok stop snickering. If, just if, I was interested in a .22 Commander is it possible? I don't recall seeing one before. I'm not interested in a .22 conversion unit, I'm talking about an actual .22 gun like an Ace except Commander size. Imput is wanted and welcome. Thanks.

Not hear of any, not seen any listed for sale on the auctions. I do have a commander length slide conversion that fits great on standard frame. you may consider a frame and conversion kit. build it to suit yourself. It also fits my officer model fram and shoots just as good on it, commander and full size.

Cam, I am very familliar with the wizards at Y-B. I guess my question more specifically is: Is there any reason a Commander can't be made into a .22?

Also, 10mm slides in a Commander size gun are made from 9mm slides correct?

Since I am becoming a Commander fan, I would like to see this! Imagine, a 22, 9mm and 45 lined up side by side!!

Thats the idea  , .22, 9mm, .38 Super, .40 S&W/10mm, .45acp.
I am working on collecting '70 series Commanders (which is not easy here in good 'ole Califory). So, I guess the next question, do I want them on lightwieght or steel frames? I'm leaning towards steel frames.
