Although I am sure it will come as no surprise to those who frequent the ltw boards, Ted has delivered yet another incredible 1911. Thanks to Bill at Alaska Gun, this Yost Signature Grade comes home tomorrow. I can't take credit for the photography (the photos came directly from the Alaskagun website). Enjoy.

Nice Gun Congrats!

Anyone know what type of sight that is? It doesn't look like my YOBO rear sight, is it a new model?

Thanks. The sight is a Heinie.

Those grips contrast great with the blue. As usual, just a really nice gun that anyone would love to own and pass down to the next generation!

We're quite pleased that you're happy. The gun is elegant, beautifully smooth and she sure shoots well (j/k) You've definitely acquired quite a .45

This pistol personifies everything good about an american made pistol. It also represents Ted's true skill. The melding of form and function through beautiful presentation and flawless workmanship.

I agree wholeheartedly with your comments about this pistol personifying "everything good about an american made pistol". In fact I agree so much that I am having a "twin" Combat Commander built to match. The level of artistry and craftsmanship is simply astonishing. The whole is truly greater than the sum of the parts in this case.
