I recently contacted Bob about a stock Delat Elite I had that was in need of customizing. Bob & I talked and I found him to be very personable and very willing to work with me on this project. Over a period of multiple conversations we arrived and a game plane to accomplish my ideas for this fine pistol. I knew I wanted a custom barrel and had decided on a Kart, but I also knew what I wanted it to look like. I wanted serrated top of slide and a slightly rounded butt as well as checkered front strap.
A Grieder trigger and EGW square firing pin stop, Yost-Bonit front & rear sights and ball end cuts.
In addition to what I specified, Bob added some other touches like re-cutting the lettering and cut what he calls a Freedom Border.
I obtained a beautiful set of grips from Esmeralda and sent them to Bob for fitting.
Bob finished it off with a super blue job with the flats polished and the rounds matte.
To say I am very please with this 10MM would be an understatement, and it shoots like a laser.

Marsh...that is one very sweet Delta1 I have always been fond of the Delta, and my appreciation for it has only grown since joining this site (thanks in no small part to our friend Jim Keeney!!).

I'm in the final month of waiting on a custom 10mm that started with a Rock River Arms frame and slide.

Your photos solved the final question of finish- polished blue wins. Your DE is outstanding, absolutely perfect in appearance. Glad to hear it shoots as well. Thanks for posting.

Long live the 10mm.

Brent
