This Colt '70 is ready to go home to one of our forum members. It came here as a "gem" from unknown Gunbroker lineage, and had a few custom modifications already. I was given my marching orders, and the "Lazarus Project' began. The amount of freedom I was given was liberal, and restrictions were few. In the end, this is what developed:
  • Yost-Bonitz Rear Sight
  • SDM Gold Bead Front Sight
  • Yost-Bonitz Ignition
  • Berryhill Trigger, internally lightened and overtravel mechanically locked
  • EGW Barrel Bushing
  • Wilson Combat Grip Safety
  • Kings Gun Works Thumb Safety
  • Wilson Combat Bulletproof Ejector, Extractor, and Slidestop
  • Wolff Springs Throughout
  • Slight dehorn
  • Hand-filed magwell opening
  • Recrown Barrel
  • Rollmark re-engraving and Hard Chrome by Accurate Plating and Weaponry
A few Before and After Pics:
(Thanks for taking the time to look!)

Nice save. Looking at the after you would never have know how rough that gun was before you got it. Good work.

Looks good, Dave - you did a fine job of cleaning up the lines around the guard.

The before pictures look a little rough. The finished product looks great. Nice job.
