This gun began life as a GI. Matt added a Nowlin barrel, C&S trigger/fire system components, Heinie Slant Pro sights and alot of mini-scallops. Matt began working under Richard Heinie and does a few projects on his own. This is one of them.

Great looking blaster.

Who makes the grips and how do they feel?

I totally get the pattern, but do they have enough bite, like checkered wood grips?

I like it! How "grippy" are the mini scallops?

The mini-scallops are very grippy without being aggressive. I ran 250 rounds through on day one, 2nd round failed to feed, it was Winchester White Box and the bullet hit the ramp and pushed itself back into the casing about .250. Must have been poor factory crimp. Ran through the other 249 without a hiccups. Second outing 250 rounds without a hiccup. Not a bit of irritation on the fingers from the scallops.
