I don’t know about you guys but, even though I get the pleasure of handling and shooting these guns on a regular basis, seeing the completed work of a Signature Grade never gets old... but I may just be a bit spoiled.

Image

This is yet another sterling example of Yost Signature Grade perfection. As with all Signature Grade works that leave our shop this Colt Series 70 re-issue got a complete make-over... welded frame and slide fit, Kart barrel with EGW bushing, hand checkered front and rear @40lpi, round-butt modification, flattened and serrated slide top, Heinie rear sight with gold line front, straighten all frame and slide lines, best quality parts throughout, nitre blue pins and screws, hand-made English Walnut stocks, and all the rest.

It’s nice to know that, like quality leather work such as these pictured here from John Ralston @ 5-Shot, a hand built pistol composed of fine wood and polished blue steel will never go out of style... 8) Enjoy the photos...

Oh man! That is one fine looking hammer. Very nicely done. Incredible detail Ted.

Congratulations to the new owner.

This is why I love this place....

It never gets old looking at the art you guys come up with, and Jason's photography isn't bad either!

Oh wow......YAWN........really is that all you got Ted? I could take one 1911 class and do that, there is nothing high speed or tactical about that gun.

JUST KIDDING! I'm a big fan of your work and that gun just reminds me why. Simple perfection.

That is one awesome gun. The craftsmanship to do the 40 lpi checkering is astounding! I wish I could take pictures like that.

Congratulations Methias!
That's a fine thoroughbred pony to add to any stable.
Those nitre-coated pins really do offset the grips wonderfuly-- the beading on the unpolished underside to the dustcover looks almost like texturing. It's a breed apart-- no doubt about it.
