With a little massaging from John Harrison I turned my plain jane Blued TRS into this:

When she was blued still:

It's a joy to shoot, super accurate, smooth and John Harrison was a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend him!

Thanks again John!

John did a beautiful transformation on your TRS. I love the crowned barrel and Ionbond finish.

John your work never ceases to amaze me...well done!!

Nice. John has done several "Smaller Jobs" for me in the past and I always felt like I got my moneys worth and then some.

Not only were the prices reasonable, but so was the time taken to complete the job and have it back in my hands...

Nice work!
How is the Ionbond holding up?
I have a gun on Burton's bench soon and I cannot carry a blued gun. My sweat is like from Aliens and rusts anything near me. He and I were talking about possibly doing the DLC thing.

It's holding up pretty well for me though I do not carry it, only a few minor areas exhibit wear that have 2 ionbonded surfaces rubbing together.

what kind of rear sight do you have on there? it's not a Heirloom Precison pro-grade or the 10-8.

The rear sight was a 10-8 Tall that i had cut down to my POI and I also had the notch widened to .140 and cut to the traditional shape.
