This is a commander I picked up a few years ago and decided to do a little work on. Don Williams was kind enough to cut the sights, and french border the slide. Blueing was courtesy of Ted Yost.

The rest was up to me :) It's always nice to visit Ted and get a little instruction and criticism. Of course, he's pretty easy to deal with. It's not perfect, and certainly not up to the same standard as the masters here, but I'm pretty happy with the results.

Mark,

A very nicely done classic fighting pistol! Kudos on your style and workmanship!

I'd be proud to say I built that pistol.

Mark, you've got to post the before pictures, especially if that's the pistol I'm thinking it is.

What SeaSoldier said. Damn straight!

Beautiful Commander Mark. I'd love to get my hands on that one.
