This one will be on display at the Advanced Armament Corp. booth (#7543). This one has the standard fare for internals, with a few exceptions. The sights are just a wee bit taller to peek over the suppressor, but still not interfere with most available holsters. I tried to get a good picture of the view through the sights, but the camera couldn't compensate for its operator. The height allows about the top half of the tritium vials to be visible over the suppressor. Special Thanks to Chuck Rogers for his contribution of a "tall" Tier One rear sight!

Kevin at KKM Precision threaded the barrel for me, and moved the threads rearward to my spec. The installation of a super-thick barrel bushing from EGW makes the gap between the bushing and suppressor a tolerable .019". The accompanying recoil spring plug was textured to match the knurling on the thread protector.

This gun was meant to be my new carry piece, and was built as such. However, it will soon have a new home in Washington state. I fitted it with two sets of stocks, a one-off set of Horned Lizards in carbon fiber by Larry Davidson, and a set of Koa with red underwear.

Thanks for taking the time to look, and I hope to see some of you in Orlando!

Great looking pistol, I especially like the Horned Lizards in carbon fiber!

Dave, wow dude! Can't wait to see this one in the flesh. Come to think of it, pretty sure I have a loaded operator posted recently on this forum that could stand a fitted threaded barrel for just such an application. Amazing work chief. If the evidence of the quality of your work hasn't been appreciated before, these recent samples of your work must surely have announced your arrival!

Is it possible for me to send you a Colt Series 70 to be worked on like this?

Dave that is one awesome pistol. I don't know what someone needs a can for in WA since our Governor doesn't want us to even have guns, but someone around here is one lucky sob. I hope to get to see that in person at some point.

Looks beautiful. Are those Accurails, and, if so, could you share your thoughts about them with us?

best
