I am finally getting around to posting pictures of my Christmas gift (Yes I know it's September) from my fiancee. It is a Colt Series 80 Commander. If was built by Ed Cameron out of Phx AZ. The gun has a Kart barrell and the STI Carbon fiber trigger. The Series 80 parts are still there, but you couldn't tell by shooting it. He also added a Series 70 hammer with the half-cock notch. It has standard Novak sights. This thing is stupid accurate. It will stack 200grn SWC's on top of each other all day long. The trigger breaks at right about 3 pounds. It is a great carry gun.

The sear and disconnect aren't Colt (The mfr of parts escapes me right now, will have to look it up)and are mirror smooth. All the bearing surfaces are polished. He did his reliability package on it. The gun was a ground up build from a Colt frame and slide. Flattened and serrated slide, and he cut the serrations and played with the ball cuts at the front.
