Nothing wrong with a smaller gun, especially as nice as those two!

Getting older is a honor denied to many. Nice pistols.

I feel your pain. I have gone to carrying a Glock more often than not now at my advanced age

Someday when the stars align I will have a very lightweight 1911, maybe Ti something.

Those are very nice sir. Congrats. They look great.

Oh Yeah!
I do agree with all of the respondents on this particular subject.
Getting old does suck, indeed!
But,...I much prefer scanning the lawn from the top down than from the bottom up.
I too find that I reach for the Glock M-30 for my present, rather than the classic iron from my past.
But I carry that beast full to the gunnels, rather than additional mags.(Go ahead and toast my toes. I'm a big child and can handle the heat, and now in my early 70's, I am past the time of "going tactical into that good night".) I clip a small Surefire into my trouser pocket and the smaller Emerson Mini CQ7 in the offside pocket. Now If I had an additional hand for my occasional use walking stick, I would be ready for the ball.

Thank you kindly for the welcome. Actually I have been "lurking" and have stayed away from comment to avoid being a pain in the neck or other body part.

The Emerson will stay clipped to my pocket and there will be no whittling on my stick.
It is a Boris Palatnik stick. Boris is to walking sticks, what Ted Yost and John Harrison or maybe more descriptively, what Stan Chen is to 1911's.
As a very young guy; too young to buy a firearm of my own, I fenced competetively pretty well, and have always kept a love for the epee and sabre. Boris provides "special cosmetic and other features" for those who wish slightly more in a walking stick than the simple assistance to balance mandated by past injury or the aging process. It is a comforting companion at times when in an area where what passes for America's "youts", congregate.
I may have to limp, but I do not have to do it on one of those drugstore aluminum jobbies, with the chunk of worn out Goodyear on the bottom.
